How to integrate Java web application with Business object enterprise XI 3

I am new to the concept of Business object enertprise

we have a j2ee web based application. we need to generate crystal report from our application browser  by integrating with business object enterprise. Can you pls guide me which service i need to use and how in order to generate the reports?
