Open Document URL - what is the difference?

I've been trying to export a Crystal Report as a PDF using OpenDocumnet.

In the developer guide, I see 2 kinds of URLs:

http://<BOXI_Server>:8080/BOE/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?iDocID=Aa3dhagQaEdGqTnh3g.uQn8&sIDType=CUID&token=<>

http://<server_name>:<port>/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?iDocID=Aa3dhagQaEdGqTnh3g.uQn8&sIDType=CUID&token=<>

Only the first URL (including "BOE" in the URL) works for me. what is the difference between the two?
